Across the Pond is an examination of the difference between British and American grammar through song lyrics.

I chose genres which were synonymous with each country: jazz, pop and rap being very typically “American”, while Brit Pop, Rock ‘N Roll and Glam Rock having firm roots in Britain.

I decided to create a collection of record covers to highlight the contrast between each country's music whilst also celebrating our joint cultures. The colour palette takes inspiration from our flags and pop culture, and I used a different background colour for each nation.
